Meatballs

Notes: best light meatballs ever


Ingredients:

1 kilo (2.2 lbs) minced beef (or meat of choice or vegetables)

2 eggs

250 grams dry bread/breadcrumbs - moistened with water

2 medium sized onions, chopped

1 small cup olive oil

1 small glass ouzo (dry anise-flavored aperitif)

1 soup spoon of mustard

Oregano, mint, parsley, salt and pepper, to taste. Garlic optional and to taste.

Process:

Mix all the ingredients together and make small balls. Cook in the oven at 200 C (392 F) for 25 minutes or deep fry in vegetable oil for 15 minutes.
