LACE COOKIES

Notes: one of the best Christmas cookies ever

Ingredients:

3 cups oatmeal

2 ½ cups light brown sugar

6 Tablespoons flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup melted butter

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla

Process:

Step 1

Set oven to 375 degrees

Step 2

Mix oatmeal, sugar, flour, and salt in a large bowl. Stir in melted butter. Add egg, slightly beaten. Add vanilla.

Step 3

Arrange by teaspoonfuls on parchment paper sprayed with oil.

Step 4

Bake until lightly browned.

Step 5

Remove from paper as soon as cool enough - cookies like to stick. Cool on cookie racks.
